My Journey

My Journey

  • 1. Childhood struggles

Growing up a gymnast in the 90s, I was regularly weighed and body fat tested, which led me to feel shame about my body early on. This shame escalated in my teens and is where my struggle with restriction, bingeing, and body image issues began.

  • 2. Struggles continued

In college, my issues felt normalized as a lot of women around me were also on a constant pursuit of weight loss. When I did drop weight - by means of restriction and overexercise - I was praised for the weight loss, which only made things worse.

  • 3. My calling to help other women

My own healing journey revealed a deep passion for helping other women with similar struggles.

  • 4. Continued education

So, I went back to school to become a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and dove into studying Intuitive Eating, nervous system regulation, and a biblical perspective on food, fitness, and body acceptance.

  • 5. Wonderfully Made was born

That’s when Wonderfully Made was born - a faith-rooted space for healing, freedom, and lasting transformation.
